What's the mitigation chance in Cyberpunk? ›

Mitigation Chance

Determines your chance to Mitigate attacks. By default, this chance is 10%. Mitigating an attack reduces the damage it deals by 50% plus additional damage reduction based on the amount of Mitigation Strength you have.

Damage over time (often referred to as DoT) is a damage inflicted continuously over a period of time. Unlike the other three damage sources, damage over time does not hit.

Mitigation is basically damage-negation. I get that. In the Cool tree there's a bunch of perks that both boost and rely on it. That's great. Except they're all percentage-based.

The secret ending to Cyberpunk 2077 involves Johnny Silverhand going on a solo mission in V's body to tear Arasaka Tower to the ground. It's a difficult ending to earn and has specific prerequisites.

There's a lot of talk that you need to be on really good terms with Johnny to get the secret ending, with a relationship status of at least 70%.

However, for reasons we won't give away here you won't actually get paid and you don't have to worry about Dex at all long term in the story. So it's all a bit of decoy decision that feels like it has an impact but ultimately has no real effect whatsoever.

V is betrayed by Dex, who shoots her in the head and dumps her corpse in the Landfill. The nanites on the Relic repair the damage from the bullet wound and V is brought back to life as a result. She wakes up just as Dex brings Takemura to her location. Dex is then shot in the head for his part in the Heist.
