In Revelation, Horse symbolism is used to convey the four signs of the coming rapture that signals the return of Christ. These references also occur in Ezekial and are described as punishments from God.
In Revelation, the Seven Seals of Solomon or Seven Scrolls are described as being held in the right hand of God. When Jesus, in this section described as the “Lion of Judah,” opens the first four Seals, the Four Horsem*n of the Apocalypse appear as riders upon the backs of distinctly colored Horses. A White Horse, Red Horse, Black Horse and “Pale” Horse.
In some accounts, the White Horse carries a figure with a bow who represents conquest. Thus White Horse Symbolism is associated with victory as the figure wears a crown as well. Ironically, this figure is both associated with Christ and anti-Christ.

It is no surprise then, that we have come to refer to someone who needs to get off their “high Horse” as someone who has assigned themselves status they don’t deserve.
When you see a White Horse, you may automatically think of victory or purity, but in this sense, White Horse is also a warning about being on the lookout for those who only want power for their own purposes. A Red Horse can be a symbol of aggression and destructiveness associated with warfare.
The Black Horse in this case corresponds to hunger and as the rider is sometimes considered a food vendor, this adds to the sense of desperation and disparity associated with the world being on the brink of turbulent awakening, as Revelation suggests.
But another interpretation of the rider of the Black Horse is that this is the bringer of justice. The rider holds scales that would have been used to weigh bread, so the Black Horse is also associated with doling out justice and consequences or judging who deserves what type of consequences.
The Pale Horse may signify literal death or situations in which mass casualties occur. Yet this Horse can also signify a journey toward growth and rebirth or some kind of release of the Ego in favor of greater enlightenment.
In addition to the depiction in Revelation, the symbolism of Horse in the Bible is quite frequently that of War Horse. In more recent times, modern Christians may look at Horse as a symbol of the Spirit and the desire for freedom or as a symbol of faith, strength and purity.
Horse as a Celtic Animal Symbol

The ancient Celts’ understanding and acceptance of each Animal’s way of life was so absolute that the Horse Totem held a Divine place in their culture. As Mystics and Shamans, the Celtic People viewed all life as intertwined, connected at the source, as seen in Celtic knotwork.

Ever since I was little when ever my family went to my grandparents, there were always three horse’s. About half way the oldest a black stallion would stop. While the other two a mare and her colt would continue with us. And whenever I’d get really scared the colt would “show up” and always made me feel safe and loved the mare would come too but, I always felt closer to the colt. Any ideas why?

There are so many reasons why some animals gravitate toward certain people. However, over the years, I’ve found the “children” are always super sensitive to other “children”. In this instance, the colt came to find you during times of stress. That said, animals have individual personalities, likes & dislikes, etc. – just like human animals do! So, it sounds like the colt really loved you simply because you are you!

I managed to complete the spirit animal quiz. I came across it and thought why not try it out. I got horse. I answered the quiz to the best of my ability. I am not sure if the horse is really my spiritual animal though. I have had many encounters with so many animals but none that don’t stick out too much to me.

I was walking in my school where the field was when a horse appeared I hopped onto it and I rode it happily and excited but when I saw two of my friends the horse dropped me and ran off until it disappeared. I used to have this reoccurring dream when I was growing up. Not often, but a few times a year at most. It was always short and exactly the same. Took place at night and the only details you could see of the people were dim and barely moon lit silhouettes. Wherever I was in the dream was flooding (and it seemed as though the entire world flooding) I was riding on a horses back through streets that were flooded up to his chest. No saddle, no reins, and I was a little girl in the dream. We come across a little boy that would surely drown in the flood and we run over to him to rescue him then as I’m attempting to pull him up on the horses back with me I either wake up or don’t remember what happens next. Do you think the horse in this dream is my spirit animal?

I absolutely think Horse is, not only your Spirit Animal, but maybe your Totem and Power Animal, too! See, dreams that involve water are all about our deepest emotions, our very soul. Water is also a very feminine energy. Since you dreamed you were female and in water – but were riding a Horse (a very masculine energy) – I think Horse energy helps you balance the feminine/masculine, which a rare accomplishment for any of us!
Also, since in the dream, you were riding the Horse with no saddle/reins, that tells me that you were one with the Horse – especially since you were able to stay on even during a flood.
Finally, it’s a powerful omen that neither you nor the Horse panicked and had the compassion and presence of mind to try to save that little boy. Is it possible that the little boy is actually you?

When I was little I found a little back bird that I thought was really cute, so I named him Blacky ( I was pretty young and I name lots of animals) but when ever I called his name he would always come back. It was like she understood what I was saying? But when I called her to come with a friend she wouldn’t come but still even the same day if I called her back alone she would come back. And one day she came with a baby and she eat me get really close, like she trusted me. Do you think that, that meant something?

My dreams about horses always follow the same plot and last night, for the first time in years I had the dream again; The horse is always black, male and unridable by anyone except me… He threw me off into a blackberry bush and the next day I come back we squabble like siblings about the fact he threw me into the blackberry bush, he jumps the 6 foot fence of his yard and follows me into the stables (all the while we are still squabbling) then men try to attack me he protects me from them, then other men and women come into the stable check i’m okay, seem very surprised that I, a beginner rider, am riding this horse as no one else can get near him… then I wake up!

I was dreaming I was in a feild and next I saw a brown horse he let me snuggle him and pet him I turn around and then there’s a white horse letting me do the same they were standing almost like a triangle and I felt protected and loved them I looked pass them and I rode the tan one so fast on bate back I loved the wind going threw my hair but at the same time felt we were going into war but I felt we couldn’t get there fast enough to and the white horse was right next to me there were other horses and men riding them I feel into a battle we never got to cuz I woke up please help me to understand and are these my soul spirits or my guardians???

hello , i went through a guided visualisation with my holistic therapist yesterday and what came to me as my power animal was a horse. And im sure it was a brown horse. and then last night i was thinking about the fact i had a horse as a power animal and a image came to me of what it kind of looked like, the image was of a brown horse and black mane with i think there were white marks on its face or something . any way thats what came to me last night . but im just wandering how can your power animal so easily come to you through a guided visualisation? just a question , thats all and what does this properly signify . thanks .

“Horses where huge! Double the size than the larges breed of horse. All horses where where from different cultures all moving. Somebody told me to chose one and go. The first one eventuelly left, but then hanged on to a magnificent black horse with a saddle of royalty. Colors where red and gold with complicated detail. The horses where going somewhere I did not know, but I was not afraid. More like curious, awed and adventerous.”
So what happened was that I was in a stable and a constant amount of horses came from a large entrance to the exit, just at the other side. I do not see traditional-dressed horses in real life, but all horses where definitely from different cultures. Some had wagons, others where different somehow. All where (and looked) enormous, about twice my height. When I was told to pick a horse and go, I either tried a white horse or a brown one, but the horse refused and left. Next one I think he came to me, but because the other horses kept running, I had to hop on his back quick. His gear reminded me of royalty, the base color was red with gold stitches forming complicated but elegant designs. I do not live in a city, but as we followed the herd of horses, we where crossing through construction on the side of these grey building. However, when I looked ahead, I saw pastures and smooth hills. My feelings toward this are the same as I had written it.
From what I read in my journal, it was the day of me to attempt to see if my “best friend” would do anything if I said our friendship was over (because she pretty much hanged out with her male best friend and ditched me out of her life.) It did not help, for I am still “mourning” for my like-sister-friend.
If you know what this dream means, I would greatly appreciate a response of either way (yes/no).

I have been told that means good luck and i have been putting applications to schools but can he be my spirit guide also? Since i have been asked to show them in my dream? Hi, so I know my spirit animal is the horse and I took the quiz, getting the same result. Well I had a dream last night with horses in it. I have never had a dream with horses before and this one was weird. I was riding a beautiful golden colored bay mare and there was another girl on a white mare. As we rode we met up with a price of sorts who rode a black stallion. He had fallen from his saddle and I had jumped from my mare to his stallion. Well the horse slowed so we barely moved but when i jumped back to my mare we sped up and flew on the wind with the stallion close behind. I am curious s to wht it could mean

My spirit animal was a tiger, his name was “my friend”. At night in bed i would spend alot of time meditating and visualization with my totem. It made me feel safe, comfortable and in powered. Recently it had been hard to focus to him and ending up I wasnt able to travel to that visual place. I had a dream that I was walking alone at night with a flashlight towards a realitives house and felt a presence.startled because I could not see it,I ran to the house got inside the tall gate and closed it. Then,a beautiful horse leaped over, falling into a tumble. It got up and came towards me. I’ve been connected with a Horse as my Spirit Animal. It couldn’t be even more of a true statement. With the name Breeze even connects me to a stronger bond with the Horse. I’ve always been amazed by the horse’s beauty, strength, freedom. I’ve never been a fan of a saddle on a horse but I always loved to see someone ride bare back even though I haven’t done it.

I’ve liked horses since I could remember. (I’m 14 now.) I feel like I have some kind of connection to horses. They feel like the missing piece to my life. I still haven’t gotten to interact with horses though. I’m always finding these stories on accident of horses being abused or neglected. I mostly focus on a relationship of equality, respect, and companionship. I feel like life has put a massive wall in front of me just to keep me from working with horses. Here is my most recent dream I can remember: I was in a barn and there was a bay mare trapped in a stable why some guy was flat out beating the mare and I knocked him out with a shovel. I slowly opened the gate and left setting it free. She followed me and I stood still finding her in front of myself. I assumed she wanted her to mount her from some reason (No tack) so I went up to her slowly and waited for her to allow me on her back. She cantered over to a locked gate where there were wild horses. I dismounted and stopped at the gate. I turned around and looked into her eyes calmly and she pushed me lightly to the locked gate. I woke up grinning realizing that it was probably a sign that getting past that wall that’s keeping from horses is possible to get by.

Hello. I need help interpreting a dream I had that has been on my mind heavily. First I found a pair of pink shoes.. ones that would fit a small child. They were small indian like boots. Then later in the dream i had lost them and couldn’t find them anywhere. I was told they were valuable and searched for them repeatedly. While searching I was chased by a man on a brown horse who wanted the shoes he thought I still had. I was running and hiding from him. And thats all I remember from the dream. In my dream I Felt that I was safe even with such a snake, then a brown horse killed it. It was really strange but I just felt that somehow it was important and meaningful. Was with a free herd that ran with these people during night. The horse at first was galloping and was running my fingers on his head and neck then somehow jumped into a cart and curled its head onto my lap. The last time I dreamed about a horse, I was sitting atop it with no saddle. It stood still and i stroked its mane. I think we were on a beach. Is there any meaning of some sort,the other time I was driving back home n I imagined being in an accident bumped a horse and just as I was about to accelerate there was a white horse in front of me and I stopped. I was scared and stopped the car and looked around and only to find the same horse by the side of the road not in front of the car. Now where I am there are horses and somehow this brown n white horse came running towards me n it looked at me after it “bowed” twice. I left n came with a friend n when he wanted to touch it it moved away and when I touched it somehow it layed its head on my shoulder and allowed me to touch it. I’ve always had horses surrounding my life even though i never owned one but will someday. But i had signs of horses all round me in posters and figurines to watching movies about horses. Once i met real horses at my aunt’s farm and petting them and since then i felt connected to them and kept seeing them everywhere from horse carriages in my city to the country where my aunt lives.
